How PDF Touch Up processes files, feedback, analytics, and technical diagnostics.

Updated: 23 July 2026

PDF files

PDF files and generated outputs are processed in server memory. They are not written to application storage or retained after the response completes.

Feedback

When you send feedback, we store the category, message, optional email and rating, language, page path, browser details, viewport, and a request identifier. Your PDF and its text are never attached.

Error diagnostics

We may store sanitized error codes and coarse technical context such as file-size range, page count, operation count, and processing time. Filenames, PDF text, replacement text, images, and signatures are excluded. Error events expire automatically.

Usage analytics

We use random first-party visitor and session identifiers plus Google Analytics 4 to understand page views, traffic sources, language, device category, and the PDF workflow from open through download. Google Analytics may set first-party analytics cookies and process device or network information under Google's terms. We do not send filenames, document content, edited text, images, signatures, feedback messages, or email addresses to Google Analytics. Analytics events stored in our database expire after 90 days.
